Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.  He is approachable, commercial, and knows first hand the pressures of running successful businesses of different sizes.  He understands how to juggle priorities whilst managing customers, cash, colleagues & staff - because he has done it.  He is creative, sees the big picture, and is a strong communicator who understands the importance of deadlines & where necessary, the detail.  He also understands that not everybody is an accountant, or talks like one!
Paul is the sole director of IQ Business Consulting Ltd with over 15 years of experience.  During this time he has run & supported successful small, medium & large businesses in various roles & sectors.  Paul trained with a small firm of accountants supporting many varied small clients before moving to a larger practice upon qualifying, where he worked for Owner Managed Businesses bringing together accountancy, audit, tax planning, tax compliance & company secretarial services through a single point of contact.

In 2000 Paul left practice to run various multi-disciplinary finance teams for some large companies (and household names), completing roles including finance director before going self employed in 2007 as an interim finance director & practicing chartered accountant.
